面板式流量计生产是由流体处在满管情况下的电阻值定义是99.99%，便是在流体满管时，用空管警报阀值将空管测量值校正到99.99%。其功流量计管路之中流体液位是小于测量电级时，电级在触碰到气体时，流量计所相对的电阻便会提高。在高过空管警报阀值时，流量计便会显示空管报警信号，这是依据具体使用情况来统计的。
在流体满管时，可将高压型玻璃浮子流量计空管测量值校正到99.99%以后，而当其管道中流体液位彻底是低于整个测量流量计的电极时，它空管测量值便会达到999.99%以上。因此流量计的空管报警值设定时在900%上下，就能够推算出空管的情况。
